April 4. 2013 – For the first time, after the non-attention given to the dropping of child rape charges against Reese Hopkins by the New York City District Attorney’s office. The grand jury testimony of Reese’s former step-daughter will be revealed.

In that testimony, the former step-daughter gives testimony to the events that lead to the charges filed on April 25, 2008. Not only denying any rape took place, as the accuser stated to police, but contradicting the accusations entirely.

All of the testimony by police and the accuser will be part of the new documentary “Those Who Trespass Against Us” due in November 2013.

I understand you’ve been asking the president to come to town to address the gun violence. After 506 murders there in 2012, one would expect the president to address it. Fat chance.

You’ve got several issues in your town that hinders the president from visiting your plagued city of carnage. To put it simply: you’re not white and blacks dying in the inner-city is to be expected.

That’s the media’s take not mine. I’ve worked with plenty of media types and they’ve expressed their interest – or lack thereof – to me on many occasions and have claimed the inner-city views the media as racist when profiling negative stories involving minorities. So to keep from being admonished by certain groups (NAACP, The Urban League, etc) they avoid it. 

The presidents staff is made up of spin doctors and media types (more than in recent memory) who know how and when to spin a story to protect the president’s image. Truth be told, the president is very protective of his own image. He hates criticism and thirsts for praise. The praise he gets with impunity within the black community.

President Obama has witnessed the black community refer to him with idyllic praise. He can do no wrong in their eyes. Quite frankly, he doesn’t care about your city’s violence because there’s no political gain for him. He’s already got it! With 93% of black support, what’s he got to lose?

Obama also knows Chicagoan’s will never excoriate him for his lack of interest in the inner-city. He knows there will be excuses made for him. “He’s busy” or “he’s the president of the United States, not just Chicago”.

Boy, if that were only the case for George W. Bush during hurricane Katrina. Hey Obama, we can’t even get a “flyover”?

Rev. Jesse Jackson and others are begging the president to come to his adopted home town of Chicago to address this violence on a national stage. Oddly, that request has not been echoed by the president’s former chief of staff and current Chicago mayor, Rahm Emanuel.In fact, Mayor Emanuel has sought the leadership of controversial Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan to address the issue of gun-violence. But not his friend and former boss, the president of the United States?

Let’s face it. The president isn’t coming to Chicago. He would have to air some “dirty laundry” in the black community. Laundry that will get national coverage that forces every American to have a discussion about a very touchy subject. Most notably, it will shed a light in places many black leaders would rather keep in the dark.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

The president visits Tuscon, AZ

 Here are the facts: 44 people died in Tuscon, Aurora and Newtown combined. Those shootings were in a span of 2 years. The 506 in Chicago were in 2012 alone. Each of those towns received a visit from the president where he gave a speech that was covered by the national media. Yet, no visit to Chicago?

You may just have to face facts: “Barack Obama doesn’t care about black people”. Or is it worse than that?

“Obama, Obama, we are all Osama”!

This is what was shouted outside and inside our US Embassy before the killings of 4 diplomats, including US Ambassador J. Chris Stevens in Libya. In fact, ABC News Radio has reported on the ground that most protesters knew nothing about a YouTube movie trailer which is said to depict Mohamed (their spiritual leader) in an unfavorable light.

Are we to believe that protesters were insulted by a small YouTube trailer, yet were ignorant to a worldwide covered campaign that boasted – for the purpose of reelection – the killing of Osama bin Laden?. For Pete’s sake, they made a bumper sticker for delegates to wave at the convention during Vice President Joe Biden’s speech.

Not to mention this happened on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks on our nation. Arabs were clearly incensed that Osama’s death was being celebrated (if not outright bragged about) by a country condemned by Islamist and extremist alike.

There’s no need to remind anyone the mainstream media will continue this blame of a little known internet movie trailer for the death of our 4 diplomats in an attempt to clear the Obama Administration of any wrongdoing in spiking the football with regards to killing Osama bin Laden.

But I think we all know better.

This Memorial Day will always serve as a reminder, to me, that there is something inherently wrong with liberals. A true example of this would have to be MSNBC weekend host, Chris Hayes. Mr. Hayes hates war. Doesn’t see a reason for it. Mr. Hayes is a believer of “conflict resolution”. The kind promoted at your preschoolers playground should someone not share the “Speak N’ Spell”.

So I was not too shocked to learn that Chris Hayes would take issue with referring to our fallen soldiers as “heroes”, stating he’s “uncomfortable about the word [hero] because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war. Um, and, I don’t want to obviously desecrate or disrespect memory of anyone that’s fallen, and obviously there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism, you know, hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers, and things like that. But it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic. But maybe I’m wrong about that”.

Maybe!?!??!?!?

Coming from a military family, I have always argued that my family members were more courageous than I because they enlisted with the premise that in a time of war, they may indeed be sent to do battle and could quite possibly be injured, maimed or die. In my eyes (as well as anyone with a brain), they were already heroes just for volunteering in the first place.

I wanted to call my family and ask how they felt about Mr. Hayes’ comments but I was reminded that every time someone says something ridiculous about military service my family shoots back with a statement that makes me angry and proud at the same time.

“We defend his right to say it and always will”.

Maybe Chris Hayes just doesn’t know the meaning of the word.

Is being rich a bad thing? Maybe if you're a Republican

ABC News’ Diane Sawyer and a host of other news reporters have often asked if GOP presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, is too rich to relate to the average American voter. It made me wonder; If that question were valid, wouldn’t we ask the same about anyone that was rich?

I thought the best example of this would be rich rappers. They’ve often been used to promote politics. Many may remember rap impresario, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, “Vote Or Die” campaign back in 2004. Rap mogul, 50 Cent (as well as other very rich actors and musicians) participated in print ads for that campaign. No one ever asked if P-Diddy was too rich to relate.

And Jay-Z is reportedly worth and estimated $450,000,000. “Jigga Man” has been selling ignorant swill to the habitants of slums across our nation and abroad and has made hundred of millions of dollars off the backs of the most disenfranchised groups. Mitt Romney may like being able to fire people but, he’s surely not for selling ignorance for profit.

I know that rappers don’t make public policy. The argument here is that the press has spent a exorbitant amount of time and editorial space on painting a rich guy like Mitt Romney as an out of touch millionaire. Following their standard and practices, I’m forced to ask if this is a double standard.

Would the press say George Clooney is too rich to understand the poverty in Somalia?

When the media believed this shooting was based on race, they pounced onto the story. Even though it took many media outlets some two weeks to even notice the story. But when they did notice, the covered it with so much glee it was sometimes embarrassing. what these media outlets did next was close to criminal.

Now that the damage has already been done. People believe the shooting was racially motivated regardless of the facts. Many are holding on to the narrative to stir racial tensions higher and higher.
